The causes and solutions of the transverse texture defects of cold-rolled steel products are an important link in the development of production technology for high-grade forged steel cold-rolled products.

How is the Transverse texture formed? When the strip is subjected to a stress exceeding the yield limit and a sudden transition occurs from the elastic zone to the plastic zone, due to the effect of the yield platform, uneven and local flow deformation will occur on the strip section, and the surface yield transverse lines will appear. The microscopic reason is due to the "nail anchor" effect of the Korotkoff air mass. When solute atoms interact elastically with the dislocation, they will segregate around the dislocation, forming a so-called "Korotkoff gas mass". At this time, if the dislocation wants to move, it must break free from the air mass or drag the air mass to move together, so that the strip produces a yield platform.
